I have played every build listed below, and I truly believe the strongest and best starting build for 3. Essence Drain. ED is beginner and veteran friendly, and its even better in 3. Contagion Ao. Trickster generally does more damage, but doesnt have the survivability of Occultist. Both are great variations of the best Do. T skill in the game. Ancestral Warchief is another top choice. Its powerful, easy to scale just craft 2. H axes, has great survivability swap out Concentrated Effect for Ao. E when doing Izaro, etc, is one of the best lab runners in the game, and is fun. I hadnt played this since the 2. I played it in 3. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it and it was very powerful. Chloride Software For Power Start 600 Lb there. And when you find or craft a high DPS 2. H axe, its simply magical. It is also Shaper viable. The downside It doesnt clear as quickly as other builds. The most powerful version of the build is the Facebreaker version, but thats a choice to pursue after a first build. You cant go wrong with a 2. H RT Resolute Technique Cyclone build, especially with the 3. Cyclone skill now ensuring players dont get stuck on objects. Cyclone builds are tanky, fun to play, and awesome with the right items that enhance blood and gore. Plus its nice to not have to worry about getting stunned. For those of you who are interested in an alternative to the RT Cyclone norm you can also try the Electro Cyclone, which is also a great build that has more than 1. M DPS with the proper gear. Freezing Pulse Totems Path of Building Link are awesome a crit based cold build that has great survivability and can shatter every enemy on the entire screen in just a second or two. They also do a reasonable job against bosses. This build is one of the best farming builds out there and can take a character to level 1. If you want to see FP Totems in action, check out this video. Summon Raging Spirit SRS is one of the best starting builds that also scales well, even with the 1. Plus this skill can start to be used at the very beginning of the game. There are 3 core flavors Baron, Elemental in the initial link, and Combination note this guide from 2. Since a Baron helmet may be difficult to get early league but can have the best damage, I recommend either Elemental or the Combination to start with. The advantage of the Elemental is the damage is higher, where the Combination build has better survival its just not as quick at mapping and bossing. The downside to a SRS build is with bosses that attack and move so quickly that its hard to cast your SRS while running around. One solution is to swap in a Spell Totem for such circumstances Izaro is a notorious PITA for SRS builds without top notch cast speed. Righteous Fire Totems paired with Searing Bond pretty much melts everything. It is Shaper viable, but doesnt clear as fast as other builds mentioned below. This build is incredibly easy to get up and running Milkys guide is solid and built for 3. Once you get Soul Mantle which is a common unique, its pure melty magic. Clearing maps, Bosses and Zerg Breaches this build does it all. I was quite surprised at how much I liked this build, and it performed better than each of the below builds as a league starter for balanced clearing, boss killing and survival. Note this build is still rock solid for 3. Burning Damage and the Tree nodes were buffed to compensate for the totem life hit. Searing Bond was also buffed, and the overall difference in RF totem damage is negligible and this build is still a top tier league starter. You can read more about the impact of the 3. The only real disadvantage is the single target damage can be quite lacking but the build is fun, powerful, and can take the character to level 1. Why critical path is critical to project management. I still find it puzzling that the project manager asked a bunch of business and system analysts to determine the projects critical path. It wasnt until I shifted my career into project management that I gained a better understanding of the critical path and its impact to a project. The Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK defines the critical path as the sequence of schedule activities that determines the duration of the project. Project managers can also apply the critical path methodology technique to determine the amount of float on various logical network paths in the project schedule network to determine the minimum total project duration. Critical path explained. If youre just as confused by the PMBOK speak as I was, let me restate it in a way thats easier to understand. The critical path is simply all the tasks that determine the end date in your project schedule. If one of those tasks is late by one day, then your project end date will be extended by one day. Oftentimes, there will be tasks that are not on the critical path this is due to the slack in the project schedule. If you refer to your current schedule, you can examine the Gantt chart and quickly identify the tasks that have some float compared to the tasks that have no slack. Slack is the amount of time a task can be delayed without impacting the start date of a subsequent task. The critical path methodology is simply a technique to identify all the tasks that will directly impact the project end date. Figure A depicts a Gantt chart with a set of tasks on the critical path. Figure ACritical path in Microsoft Project. In Figure A, there are five tasks in the project schedule and Task 4 is not on the projects critical path. If Task 1, 2, 3, or 5 is delayed, then the entire project will be delayed. If Task 4 is delayed, it has seven days of free slack before it will start having an impact on the schedule. Since Task 5 is three days in duration, Task 4 could have an actual duration of 1. If it exceeds 1. 1 days, Task 4 will create a new critical path. Ill admit Im reluctant to create a network diagram and start the forward and backward pass mechanics. Tools are invented for a reason and, fortunately, Microsoft Project can support forecasting, what if analysis, and detailed scheduling metrics along the critical path. By switching to different views and formatting the Gantt charts, you can quickly identify and monitor the tasks on the projects critical path. Figure B depicts the free slack in Microsoft Project. All the tasks on the critical path have zero slack in their schedule and thats why these tasks drive the end date. Task 5 has 7 days of slack and is not included on the critical path.
